It's been over two years since I've posted to this blog. So much has happened. I lost my husband to mental illness. He's alive but as a result of his illness I had to separate from him and had our marriage annulled. So much pain and suffering. And, so much sadness. Anyone who has a loved one with mental illness knows how impossible it is to help them unless they want help and are willing to stick with "the program". The end result, if it goes untreated, can become devastating and dangerous for the family. I pray for Michael daily and am learning to move on without him :(. It's been a struggle to let go and get my life back. It's been a long process. Michael's been gone just over a year and it's taken this long to get interested in anything other than work and TV. I have dear dear friends who love and encourage me everyday.
On a much happier note my beautiful granddaughter is now 5 1/2 years old. She is in kindergarten and doing extremely well. I can't believe she's reading and writing sentences all by herself. I recently had her for a few nights and one full day and can't believe how intelligent and how much she has learned since September when shes started school. Now that the nice weather is here I hope to have her more often. And now that she's older it's easier to take her on outings to fun places.
I've been working for Certified ADA Consultants, Inc. now for almost 2 years. I'm loving it more and more every day. Things change so much I learn new things all the time. My employer is the best! He gave me a day off to make the Easter weekend 3 days. I've been cleaning, getting ready for the Easter Bunny. I better get back at it.
God bless!
